On the evening of July 1, 2018, police were called to the 1800 block of 23rd Street, SE in Washington, D.C., where they discovered a man unconscious and unresponsive. The man, identified as 60-year-old Stephen Cosetti Cade, a male born on March 3, 1957, was suffering from a gunshot wound.
