In the summer of 2023, a shooting in Southwest Washington, D.C. left three people wounded. Among them was 31-year-old Ryan Morgan, a resident of the area. The incident occurred on June 14th in the 100 block of Atlantic Street SW. Emergency services responded to the scene and transported Morgan and another adult male to a local hospital, both in critical condition. A third victim, a 17-year-old male, was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
