In the early morning hours of June 22, 2025, the sound of gunfire shattered the quiet of the Kingman Park neighborhood in Northeast Washington, D.C. Responding to the disturbance at approximately 12:03 a.m., Metropolitan Police Department officers on patrol discovered a grim scene in the 1800 block of D Street, Northeast.
