In the summer of 2016, a young man's life was cut short in a Taco Bell parking lot in Colorado Springs, a death that would leave a family grieving and a community questioning the justice system. On July 17, 23-year-old Jesse Roberto Garcia, a Hispanic male, was fatally shot. The incident, which was initially reported as a possible road-rage scenario, has since been shrouded in controversy and unanswered questions.
