Gabriel Villanueba, a White/Caucasian male, 32, was found shot to death just before dawn on August 21, 2023, inside the Wind River Place apartment complex in the 900 block of North 19th Street on Colorado Springs’ west side. Officers were called around 2:48 a.m. and discovered him deceased at the scene; the El Paso County Coroner identified him the next day following an autopsy as a resident of Colorado Springs.
