On January 28, 2023, 19-year-old Emilio Alvarado from Philadelphia was fatally shot. He was transported to Lankenau Medical Center by a private vehicle around 12:30 a.m., suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his chest and leg. Despite medical efforts, Alvarado was pronounced dead shortly before 1 a.m.
