Death by Force

On November 22, 2023, at approximately 8:15 a.m., 45-year-old Emerson DeSouza was fatally shot in Philadelphia's Mayfair neighborhood. The incident occurred near his work truck, parked on Sackett Street, around the corner from his residence on the 3100 block of Wellington Street. DeSouza, originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, was shot once in the chest and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
