Two men are murdered during a robbery
On September 4, 1983, Darren Reed Walker, age 20, and his coworker, 25-year-old Steven Patrick Shinault, were both tragically murdered during a robbery at the Exxon Service Station in Bastian, Bland County, Virginia. The Virginia State Police responded to the scene where both men were found shot multiple times in the utility room of the station.
