Jahmeer Alphonso Jett, a 19-year-old aspiring boxer and the son of a Philadelphia Police officer, tragically lost his life on January 17, 2014. Jahmeer was walking home when he was approached from behind and shot multiple times in the back by an unknown assailant. He was rushed to the University of Pennsylvania Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries 17 minutes later.
