Murdered

On June 24, 2023, at approximately 2:40 a.m., 30-year-old Khalil Wilkes was found deceased along Philadelphia's Kelly Drive. A patrolling officer discovered Wilkes lying next to a Dodge Charger with its hazard lights activated and hood open, suggesting possible vehicle trouble. The vehicle bore temporary Delaware tags and had been reported stolen. Wilkes had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 3 a.m.
