On November 10, 2022, Nicholas Brown, a 25-year-old Black male, was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting in North Philadelphia. Brown was sitting in a parked GMC Yukon on the 1300 block of West Somerset Street when another vehicle approached and opened fire.
