On January 7, 2023, at approximately 11:43 p.m., Syracuse Police responded to a shooting incident on the 200 block of Sunset Avenue. Upon arrival, officers discovered two male victims: 27-year-old Tyus Ogletree, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was found inside a residence at 212 Sunset Avenue, and 24-year-old Vladimir Fernandez, located in the street with a gunshot wound to his leg.
