In the early summer of 2019, the life of 25-year-old Lakquan Taccarri Golden was tragically cut short in Syracuse, New York. On Wednesday, June 5th, Golden became the victim of a homicide, his death the result of gun violence. A lifelong resident of the city, he had attended Syracuse Public Schools and was a former football player for both the Valley Stallions and Corcoran High School.
