In the summer of 2017, the life of 15-year-old Akil Williams was tragically cut short on a street in Syracuse, New York. On the evening of July 12th, the young man was involved in an argument that escalated to fatal violence. Williams was shot and, despite the immediate response of emergency services, succumbed to his injuries.
