In the summer of 2018, what began as a planned robbery spiraled into a tragic double homicide that claimed the life of 28-year-old Christopher McLaurin, a male resident of Syracuse, New York. The events of June 20th of that year would not only end his life and that of another man, Luis Sepulveda, but would also lead to the conviction of a family of perpetrators, including a young teenager.
