On April 18, 2023, at approximately 11:44 a.m., Syracuse Police Department officers responded to a reported shooting on the 200 block of Martin Luther King West. Upon arrival, they discovered 22-year-old Nykeem Stallworth in a driveway at 206 Furman Street, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso. Despite emergency personnel's efforts, Stallworth was pronounced dead at the scene.
