In the summer of 2016, a young man's life was cut short on a street in Syracuse, New York. Anthony Ebron, a 24-year-old male, was discovered on Lakeview Ave with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. The incident, which occurred in July of that year, left a void in the community where he was a lifelong resident and a former youth counselor for The Boys and Girls Club of Syracuse. For years, the case remained a painful, unanswered question for his family and friends.
