In the spring of 2020, the life of 36-year-old Anthony Perry was tragically cut short on a street in Syracuse, New York. On the morning of May 3rd, police responded to a call of a shooting on Croly Street. Upon arrival, they discovered Perry, a male, lying in the street with a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal, and he was pronounced dead.
The investigation into Perry's death led Syracuse police to identify two suspects in the months
that followed. The first arrest was of Kadeem Arrindell-Martin, who was taken into custody in connection with the homicide. Later, in December of the same year, a second suspect, 27-year-old Quonta Q. Albert, was also apprehended. Both men were subsequently charged with second-degree murder, bringing a measure of progress in a case that had left a community searching for answers.
