In the early hours of a Saturday in Syracuse, New York, a dispute escalated into a fatal encounter that claimed the life of 35-year-old Iric Green. On October 29, 2016, Green was involved in an altercation that ended with him being shot in the forehead with a shotgun. The violent act also resulted in injuries to a 26-year-old woman who was present at the scene.
