On July 5, 2017, 30-year-old African-American male William Kahari Noel was fatally shot in Syracuse, New York. The incident occurred shortly after midnight at 2119 E. Fayette Street, near the Parkside Commons housing complex. The Syracuse Police Department responded to reports of gunfire and discovered that William Noel had sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
