On the evening of May 7, 2026, the life of 24-year-old Tazelic Pringle was tragically cut short by an act of gun violence in Syracuse, New York. The incident unfolded around 9:30 p.m. in the 500 block of Wolf Street, a detail that was brought to the attention of law enforcement through a ShotSpotter activation, a system designed to detect and locate gunfire.
