Raymond J. Johnson Jr., a 26-year-old African American male, was fatally shot on January 8, 2010, in Syracuse, New York. Born on November 5, 1983, he was a lifelong resident of Syracuse and was known for his close-knit family and community ties. He is survived by his daughter, Briessence Johnson, and sons, Rayontai Johnson and Teon Jacobs, along with his parents, Raymond Johnson Sr. and Donna Johnson. Raymond's untimely death marked the first homicide in Syracuse for the year 2010.
