Death by Force

On August 13, 2024, at approximately 11:59 p.m., 25-year-old Matthew Freeman was fatally shot on South Salina Street in Syracuse, New York. Emergency responders found Freeman suffering from gunshot wounds to his abdomen and shoulder. He was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead despite efforts to save him.
