Martell Derby, a 26-year-old resident of Syracuse, NY, tragically lost his life on April 18, 2016. The incident occurred on the city's north side, where Derby was fatally shot. The Syracuse Police Department identified him as the victim of a homicide that took place on Ash Street. This violent act left the community in shock and mourning, as Derby was well-known in the area.
