In the middle of the day on April 13, 2024, the life of 29-year-old Jesus Carmona, a Hispanic/Latino male, was tragically cut short. Around noon, Syracuse police were called to the 200 block of Sabine Street after reports of gunfire echoed through the neighborhood. Upon their arrival, they discovered Carmona lying on the front lawn of a residence, having sustained fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
