On April 13, 2024, around noon, Syracuse police responded to reports of gunfire in the 200 block of Sabine Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered 29-year-old Jesus Carmona lying on the front lawn of a residence, having suffered fatal gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
