On April 10, 2023, 16-year-old Victor Ricardo Jimenez Diaz was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. Officers responded to reports of a shooting near East 69th Street and Bellefontaine Avenue around 3:30 p.m., where they discovered Jimenez Diaz lying in the street with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
