In the spring of 2023, the life of a young man was cut short on the streets of Kansas City, Missouri. Sixteen-year-old Victor Ricardo Jimenez Diaz was fatally shot on the afternoon of Monday, April 10th. The incident unfolded in broad daylight in the 6800 block of Bellefontaine Avenue, a residential neighborhood in the southern part of the city.
