On March 15, 2023, 30-year-old Abdullahi Yussuf was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. Witnesses reported seeing a Dodge Challenger or Charger traveling along Independence Avenue, from which Yussuf was pushed out while the vehicle was still in motion. Emergency responders arrived at the scene near Independence and Olive Street shortly before 9 p.m., and Yussuf was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
