In the autumn of 2021, the life of 14-year-old Gabriel Christopher Raphael Williams was tragically cut short on a Friday night in south Kansas City. On September 24th, officers responded to a call of reported gunshots and discovered the young male on the ground in a driveway parking lot at the intersection of Bannister and James A. Reed roads, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Near his body, police found a stolen pistol and two spent shell casings.
