Ja'len Scott-Jackson, a 22-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on June 22, 2021. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning, around 4 a.m., when shots were fired into a home located on the 1900 block of East 24th Terrace. Ja'len was inside the house at the time and was struck by the gunfire. A civilian transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
