On September 9, 2023, 30-year-old Denetrice Jackson and 31-year-old Reginald Brandy were fatally shot while traveling eastbound on West Florissant Avenue near Buzz Westfall Drive in Jennings, Missouri. Their vehicle was found stopped in the eastbound lanes, both occupants having suffered gunshot wounds and pronounced dead at the scene.
Surveillance footage from the area captured a dark SUV present before and after the shooting. Investigators traced the vehicle's license plate to Brandy
