On a late summer afternoon in the Bronx, the life of 26-year-old Jonathan Santana was tragically cut short. Just before 12:30 p.m. on September 1, 2014, gunshots rang out on East 163rd Street. When police and emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found Santana, a Hispanic male, with gunshot wounds to his arm and chest. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in a desperate attempt to save his life, but his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
