Muhamadou Gumaneh, 27, a Black man, was killed in the early hours of August 15, 2024, on Sheridan Avenue in the Claremont section of the Bronx. Just after 1 a.m., police and paramedics were sent to the area around 1310 Sheridan Ave., where he was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; he was rushed to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln, but he did not survive.
