Lonnie Cooper, a 27-year-old resident of the Bronx, New York, was tragically killed in a double shooting on August 14, 2021. The incident occurred outside his home on Davidson Avenue in the Morris Heights neighborhood. Cooper, known as a loving father and a neighborhood "peacemaker," was standing with another man when a gunman opened fire.
