In the early summer of 2022, the life of 29-year-old Rafael Jimenez was abruptly ended on a street in the Bronx. On the evening of June 8th, Jimenez was found on Walton Avenue, near East 183rd Street, with a fatal gunshot wound to his head. Emergency responders rushed him to St. Barnabas Hospital, but his injury was too severe, and he was pronounced dead. The nature of his death immediately prompted a homicide investigation by the New York City Police Department.
