On July 29, 2024, at approximately 7:52 PM, emergency services responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious individual at East 176th Street and Mohegan Avenue in the Bronx. Upon arrival, they discovered 39-year-old Roman Martinez with multiple gunshot wounds to the head. Despite efforts by emergency medical services, Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene.
