On October 19, 2022, at approximately 3:34 a.m., police responded to a 911 call reporting a male shot in the vicinity of East 216th Street and White Plains Road in the Bronx, New York. Upon arrival, officers discovered 40-year-old Obdulio Martinez with gunshot wounds to the chest. Martinez was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was pronounced deceased.
