Fareed Adeyi, a 26-year-old Black man, was shot multiple times in the chest on the evening of October 7, 2025, in the Williamsbridge/Olinville area of the Bronx. Police responded around 6:40–6:43 p.m. to reports of gunfire near 3254 White Plains Road, by Rosewood Street, where the shooting unfolded in the parking lot behind the Laundrybee laundromat.
