In the spring of 2023, the life of 20-year-old Xavier Simmons was tragically cut short in a fatal shooting at Atlanta's Westside Park. On the evening of April 19, police responded to a call and discovered Simmons' body underneath a pavilion. He had been shot and was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident was one of three homicides that occurred within a three-mile radius in northwest Atlanta over a short period, though investigators did not state if they believed the cases were connected. ...
