In the early hours of July 4, 2018, Curtis Lamar Wright, a 25-year-old African American male, was fatally shot outside the Ice Bar Lounge and Restaurant in College Park, an Atlanta suburb. The tragic incident unfolded around 1:40 a.m. when a dispute that began inside the establishment escalated and spilled out into the parking lot.
