She was born in St. Louis, Missouri, on December 4, 1915, to Franklin Monroe Stephens and Helen Carolyn Settles Stephens. A 1937 graduate of Ohio State University, she was a member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church.
Her life in Louisville included involvement with the Junior League of Louisville and the Louisville Country Club.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Dr. Charles Francis Wood, Jr., and her second husband, Morey Lee Booth. Her family, including her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and step-family, survived her.
A visitation was held at Pearson's Funeral Home, followed by a memorial service at St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church. Her family extended their thanks to the staff of the Second Floor Skilled Nursing Unit at Treyton Oak Towers for their care in her last year.
