In the summer of 2020, a young Black/African American woman's life was tragically cut short in Louisville, Kentucky. Twenty-one-year-old Peyton Alyce' Armstead was found deceased on the evening of July 31, 2020. Born in Evansville, Indiana, on July 11, 1999, she was known for her bright eyes and a contagious smile that warmed those she met.
