In the early moments of a Monday morning in Louisville, Kentucky, tragedy befell Nychol Jeffries, a 37-year-old Caucasian female. On October 12, 2015, just after midnight, the sound of gunfire echoed at the intersection of 37th and Market Streets in the city's west end. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered two women suffering from gunshot wounds. One of them was Nychol Jeffries, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the head.
