Kayla Smith, a 23-year-old pregnant woman, was tragically shot and killed on November 27, 2019, in Louisville, Kentucky. At the time of her death, she was in the third trimester of pregnancy. Her body was found outside her apartment, with a gunshot wound to the back of her head and a bottle of abortion pills in her hand.
