In a tragic event that unfolded on June 30, 2009, 83-year-old Allie Habich, a Caucasian female, and her 53-year-old daughter, Rita Carrico, were found murdered in Habich's home on National Turnpike in the Fairdale area of Louisville, Kentucky.
