In the Algonquin neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, on the evening of December 16, 2022, the life of 33-year-old Nisanda Marshall, a Black/African American female, was tragically cut short. Around 8 p.m., the sound of gunfire pierced the night in the 2300 block of West Lee Street. When officers from the Louisville Metro Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Nisanda suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
