On July 8, 2024, a tragic incident occurred in southwest Louisville, Kentucky, resulting in the death of 29-year-old Renata Veljacic. The incident took place in the 8000 block of Glimmer Way, where Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) officers were called around 2 a.m. Upon arrival, they found Renata Veljacic suffering from a gunshot wound.
