In the early morning hours of July 8, 2024, a tragedy unfolded in a southwest Louisville, Kentucky neighborhood. Renata Veljacic, a 29-year-old Caucasian female, was found suffering from a gunshot wound in the 8000 block of Glimmer Way. Louisville Metro Police Department officers were dispatched to the scene around 2 a.m. Despite the immediate medical attention she received, Veljacic was pronounced dead at the scene.
