In a heart-wrenching turn of events that unfolded in Louisville, Kentucky, two-year-old Danesha Jones, an African American female, lost her life on March 26, 2000. On that day, she and her two sisters, five-year-old Jaquanda Smith and 17-month-old Dashay Jones, were discovered unconscious inside their family's apartment. The three girls were rushed to Kosair Children's Hospital, but tragically, none of them could be saved.
