On a summer evening in Louisville, Kentucky, the life of 46-year-old Susie Offutt was tragically cut short by a sudden burst of gunfire. The night of June 28, 2025, was shattered by violence in the Russell neighborhood, specifically on the 2700 block of West Madison Street. Around 9:30 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting and discovered two women with gunshot wounds. Both were rushed to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment.
