In the summer of 2023, the life of 42-year-old Temika Hunt was tragically cut short in what police have described as a murder-suicide. On July 3rd, officers with the Louisville Metro Police Department were dispatched to an apartment in the 7300 block of Monsey Circle in the Okolona neighborhood after receiving a call about a foul odor emanating from one of the residences. This call for a welfare check led to a grim discovery that would sadden the community.
