In the early evening of March 25, 2023, a tragedy unfolded in the Shawnee neighborhood of Louisville, Kentucky, that claimed the lives of two young people. Haley Lynn Meadors, a 25-year-old Caucasian woman, and her boyfriend, Eric Steven King Jr., also 25, were fatally shot in the 100 block of North 38th Street.
